Flower Delivery Address Checklist

The recipient, building and access details a local flower seller needs before dispatch.

Quick answer

Provide the recipient’s full name, complete street address, postal code, unit or suite, working phone number and practical access instructions. Add business, hospital or venue details when applicable.

Step 1

Confirm the exact destination

Check the street number, spelling, municipality and postal code against a reliable source. Similar street names and recently changed addresses can send a driver to the wrong place.

For apartments and condos, include the unit, buzzer, concierge process and whether the building accepts unattended deliveries. Do not place private access codes in a public card message.

Step 2

Add the recipient and receiving context

Use the name the workplace, hospital or facility has on record. Add a company, department, room or unit only after confirming that the location accepts flowers.

Provide a working phone number under the marketplace privacy policy. The seller or courier may need it for a delivery problem, but it should not appear on public pages or product reviews.

Step 3

Separate instructions from promises

An instruction such as “call on arrival” is useful. A note such as “deliver exactly at noon” is a service request and is not guaranteed unless the selected fulfilment option confirms that window.

Review the address before payment and update support promptly if the recipient moves or leaves. Once the courier is dispatched, a route change may not be possible.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the recipient’s phone number?

Often yes, for delivery coordination. It must be handled as private order information.

Can I request an exact delivery time in the notes?

You can request it, but it is only confirmed when the seller offers and accepts a timed service.

Use product-specific instructions first.

Flower types, professional mechanics and delivery conditions vary. A seller’s care card and confirmed order terms take priority over general educational guidance.
